If I rinse my produce under tap water or use other home remedies, do I need Fit Organic?

First, we are glad you have an established routine and recognize the importance of fresh fruit and vegetables! Washing with tap water alone won’t remove a wide range of surface contaminants. That’s why we recommend rinsing with water first to rinse away obvious dirt, adding Fit Organic and following the label instructions to remove the additional layers of dirt, pesticides, bacteria and pathogens, and then rinsing once more with clean water to get the cleanest, freshest experience possible.

Does Fit Organic need to be refrigerated?

No, Fit Organic does not need to be refrigerated. We encourage keeping the product on the counter or in an easily accessible space so it’s conveniently available when you need to keep produce fresh.

What is the shelf life of Fit Organic?

Our product has a best use life of two years from the date of manufacture, although it can be effective beyond its best use life. For best results, we recommend using the product within this timeframe to ensure its effectiveness and quality. You can find the Best By date printed on the packaging, which will help you determine how long the product will remain at its best. While the product is safe to use after a two-year period, its efficacy in cleaning and performance might be reduced.

Which line in the cap of the 32 oz Fit Organic do I fill it up to?

For the 32 oz bottle of Fit Organic Produce Wash, you'll want to fill the cap up to the top line. This line indicates the correct amount of product to use for an effective wash. The cap is designed with multiple lines for different measurement options, but the top line is specifically marked for the full recommended amount. This ensures that you’re using the optimal amount of produce wash to effectively clean your fruit and vegetables, removing dirt, wax, and pesticides while keeping your produce safe and fresh.

Do I need to dilute the produce when refilling a 12 oz or 16 oz spray bottle from the 32 oz soaker bottle?

No, there’s no need to dilute the Fit Organic Produce Wash when transferring it from the 32 oz soaker bottle to the 12 oz spray bottle. The formula is identical in both bottles and is ready to use as-is. Dilution is only necessary when you’re soaking a large quantity of fruit and vegetables in a bowl. In that case, you should add 1/2 cup of water for every capful of the Produce Wash to ensure proper cleaning. This allows for effective washing while still maintaining the potency of the product.

What should I do if I accidentally get Fit Organic in my eyes?

While our wash is gentle and made from organic ingredients, it is mildly alkaline and may cause slight irritation if it gets in your eyes. If that happens, simply flush your eyes with clean water for about 15 minutes. You can find first-aid details on our product labels or in our Safety Data Sheet.

I didn’t think it would work. Seriously. I was wrong. Seriously.
I was amazed at how much gross stuff came off my grapes AFTER I washed them with water!

I thought I was being a good mom by washing everything for my kids. When I saw how much gunk came off with Fit, I had to rethink my entire process.

I feel a lot better about giving my kids fresh fruit now. I know it’s actually clean.
